Fayçal Hafnaoui is a screenwriter and director based in Brussels. Born and raised in the city, he trained from a young age in the performing arts at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in the United Kingdom, before continuing his actor training at the New York Film Academy.

He began his career as an actor in New York, working across stage plays, music videos, and improvisational projects. After several years of travel, he returned to Brussels to commit fully to filmmaking — first as a screenwriter, then as director of his own scripts.

He is currently developing La Cour des Clochards, a survival drama exploring the boundaries between survival and dignity. In parallel, he is writing his third feature-length screenplay.

Fayçal Hafnaoui est scénariste et réalisateur basé à Bruxelles. Originaire de la ville, il y a été formé très jeune aux arts scéniques à la Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, au Royaume-Uni, avant de poursuivre sa formation de comédien à la New York Film Academy.

Il débute sa carrière comme acteur à New York, travaillant sur des pièces de théâtre, des clips musicaux et des projets d’improvisation. Après plusieurs années de voyages, il revient s’installer à Bruxelles pour se consacrer pleinement au métier de cinéaste — d’abord en tant que scénariste, puis en tant que réalisateur de ses propres scripts.

Il développe actuellement La Cour des Clochards, un survival drama qui interroge les frontières entre survie et dignité. En parallèle, il écrit son troisième long métrage.
